CAMPAGNOLI 41 CAPRICES, REVISED BY LUCA SANZO', RICORDI EDITION

The edition of the 41 Caprices by Bartolomeo Campagnoli for solo viola is based on two basic principles. The first concerns the right hand and in particular the correct division of the bow, so that the player uses the best point of the bow at all times, and improves his tone and phrasing in the process. The second concerns the left hand: the importance of holding the fingers down on the fingerboard as long as possible.
